The DarkShadow #4 The BOSS

    Salamander after escaping from the DarkShadow is driving a semi trailer truck containing drugs, through New York, along with another truck and a police car as an escort and protection.

Salamander:

Stay sharp, were two miles away from the drop point.

 

     Salamander was saying to the police and the other truck driver. They then continued driving, crossing lanes, turning all the while keeping a low profile not to catch suspicion. Then the passenger police officer saw something up on the buildings he then went on the radio to inform Salamander.

 

Cop #1:

Hey Salamander, I think I saw something.

 

Salamander:

What?

 

Cop #1:

I don't know. Too hard to make out, it's dark.

 

     Salamander then panicked and responded quickly.

 

Salamander:

Everyone increased speed, we need to get moving faster.

 

     As he was saying that and going faster, the DarkShadow then jumped on the hood.

 

Salamander:

Shit, it's the DarkShadow.

 

     He said, Salamander then tried to shake DarkShadow off the truck, and rammed into other cars causing crashes. DarkShadow hang on though, then went up and punch the front window piercing it and tried to grab Salamander. Salamander still trying to shake him off then pulled out a gun. DarkShadow then pulled back as Salamander started firing but missed, DarkShadow then jumped off the truck onto another car, then jumped on top of the trailer. Salamander then went on the radio.

 

Salamander:

Get the other truck out of here. You cops, SHOOT HIM DOWN!

 

   As the other truck took a different root and left, one of the cops then open his window went out halfway with gun in hand and started firing at the DarkShadow. The DarkShadow looked at the cop that was shooting him, but missing. He then looked at an incoming street light pole and as he was getting closer, the DarkShadow stretch his chain out and grabbed the pole and pulled, causing it to break down and fall right on top of the police car. The police car lost controlled and crashed into other cars and tip over. Salamander saw what happen through the rearview mirror then tried to shake DarkShadow off and got on the radio again.

 

Salamander:

That asshole is on the roof, make him dance.

 

     Bullets started coming up on the roof DarkShadow was standing, indicating men inside the trailer. DarkShadow manage well in dodging the bullet. He punch down into the trailer, grabbed and created a opening for him. The three men inside saw him and fire again, but DarkShadow dodge the bullets. DarkShadow seemed to have disappeared, the men inside the trailer continued pointing their guns at the opening he created. Then a chain came through the opening and grabbed one of them by the neck and pulled him out, the other two started firing again till they ran out of bullets. As they started to reload a hand came through the side of the trailer grabbed another one of the men and dragged him through the trailer. The DarkShadow hanging on to the trailer and holding one of the men by his collar tossed him, making him crash into a car. He then enter in the new opening and saw the last man pointing his gun at the DarkShadow, but shaking. The DarkShadow walked up to him slowly, then grabbed the barrel of the gun and hit the man in the face with it, causing him to let go. The DarkShadow then grabbed him and lifted him up, he notice a grenade on the man and took it. DarkShadow opened the trailer door and tossed the man to the road and getting run over by cars. He the jump up back on the trailer roof, release the pin and dropped it inside, and the DarkShadow used his chain to grab a traffic light pole and got taken off the trailer and hanged mid air watching the truck drive off. Salamander saw the DarkShadow hanging from the traffic pole and smiled, thinking the he gave up, but then an explosion happened inside the trailer, causing Salamander to lose control and tip over, crashing.

 

     Salamander got out of the wrecked truck, wounded and dizzy. Then he was grabbed by the colour and lifted up and faced the DarkShadow.

 

DarkShadow:

Now, your going to tell me what I want to know.

 

     He said to Salamander. Salamander then quickly took out a switched blade knife and strike at the DarkShadow. DarkShadow then let go of Salamander, backed off and spinned kicked Salamander in the stomach. Salamander fell but quickly recover and pulled out his gun and started firing, while also escaping. DarkShadow dodge the bullets, then jump on the truck and saw Salamander running, he then stretched out his chain and grabbed Salamander by the neck, but the chain unexpectedly slipped off from his head. DarkShadow retracted his chain back confused, but then chased after Salamander.

 

     DarkShadow chased after Salamander through the streets, then an alley, then back at the streets.  Salamander shot at DarkShadow with his gun but missed every shot, he tried using oncoming cars to block the DarkShadow but he jumped over them. Salamander then enter a restaurant and headed to the kitchen.

 

     DarkShadow chased Salamander to the kitchen, where Salamander grabbed a big kitchen knife. Salamander striked at the DarkShadow, but he disarmed Salamander, took the knife and chopped his hand off, which Salamander screamed.

 

DarkShadow:

I will chop every piece of your body, if you don't tell me what I want to know. Who is your boss, and where is he?

 

     DarkShadow answered his question, but looked as he the hand he chopped off, starting to re-grow. As Salamander's hand was completely restored, he then looked at the DarkShadow.

 

Salamander:

Didn't know you were facing a NewBeing, huh punk.

 

     Salamander said, revealing himself as a NewBeing, then he grabbed a pot of boiling water and threw it at the DarkShadow and then ran. DarkShadow use his coat to shield him, then pursue Salamander again.

 

     DarkShadow came out at the back of the restaurant and looked to find Salamander but no luck. He then looked up and saw Salamander climbing on a wall up to the roof. Once Salamander was up on the roof he look down at the DarkShadow and smiled and made a gestured to try and come up there. Salamander just continued looking down at the DarkShadow and laughed softly, but then the DarkShadow suddenly turned to a Dark smoke and flew up to the roof at Salamander, then reformed into the DarkShadow and he punched Salamander mid air in the face then landed on the roof.

 

DarkShadow:

Didn't know you were facing an actual Demon, huh punk.

 

     DarkShadow said mimicking Salamander words from before and the center of his red eyes glowed Dark. Salamander then ran again, but the DarkShadow teleported to in front of him. Salamander attacked him, butt DarkShadow blocked and they fought. Every attack Salamander through at DarkShadow, he blocked and countered. Salamander then jumped over to another rooftop and ran, but the DarkShadow followed. Salamander was running and jumping to rooftop to rooftop, with DarkShadow following him. As Salamander was jumping over to another roof, the DarkShadow popped up next to him, tackle and grabbed him. They both fell off the roof and crash into a bus driving by.

 

     Inside the bus, the DarkShadow grabbed Salamander and started beating him, Salamander tried to fight back but couldn't. The bus stopped, and DarkShadow threw Salamander through the front window.

 

     Outside DarkShadow and Salamander continued to fight, with people gathering, watching and recording it all. DarkShadow continued to have the upper hand on Salamander. Then DarkShadow got Salamander in a tight arm grab from the back. Just then police cars came, as cops stepped out of the cars and pointed their guns at DarkShadow and Salamander.

 

Cop #2:

Freeze, hands up.

 

Salamander:

Looks like it's over for you.

 

     DarkShadow twisted Salamanders arm.

 

DarkShadow:

I can easily escape, but before I do, I might as well kill you now. By using you as a shield while these cops shoot.

 

 

Salamander:



W-w-what. I don't want to die.

 

DarkShadow:



I'll tell you what. You tell me what I want to know. And I' let you live... so. Who is your boss and where can I find him?

 

     Salamander hesitated in giving the information, so DarkShadow broke his arm.

 

Salamander:

FINE... his name is Ifrit. He's the leader of the Hellfire Gang!

 

DarkShadow:

Where is he?

 

Salamander:

Manhattan... old warehouse power station.

 

     DarkShadow, let go of Salamanders arm, but immediately broke both his legs.

 

Salamander:

Aaaaaah. Why did you. We had a deal!

 

     DarkShadow:

You'll heal, and I am letting you live. Thanks.

 

     DarkShadow then turned into Dark smoke, the police were shock and started firing, but the bullets went straight through the smoke and left. The Police then went to Salamander and arrested him.

 

     Later on Red Bishop is entering a room, there he sees a man standing in front of a table that has chemicals and lab equipment and the man is working on test tubes.

 

Red Bishop:

... Ifrit sir.

 

Ifrit:

I thought I said I did not want to be disturbed.

 

Red Bishop:

I'm sorry, but... there is a problem.

 

Ifrit:

What is it?

 

Red Bishop:

I have received word that Salamander has been taken into custody.

 

Ifrit:





So something went wrong in the transportation.

 

Red Bishop:

Yes, the DarkShadow interfered.

 

Ifrit:

What happened to our Hunter?

 

Red Bishop:

He's dead. One of the trucks did get to the drop point, but the other, the drugs were destroyed...White Shark will not be please.

 

Ifrit:

I will speak to White Shark, I believe I might be able to ease his frustrations with a gift. However... Salamander... Has he spoken?

 

Ifrit said turning around facing Red Bishop. His skin was red covered in these scar line marking, as well was his hands and his eyes were yellow.

 

Red Bishop:

I do not yet know, but I will soon find out.

 

Ifrit:

Things are becoming far too complicated with this DarkShadow around, especially when I'm so close to my goal. I believe it's time for me to take these matters on... personally.
