DarkShadow VS Marauder: Part 2

     At night, in a alley of New York. Marauder was interrogating a biker, who could be affiliated with the Red Serpents, as he was about to stab him with a knife he was stopped as his arm was grabbed. Marauder looked to see who had grabbed his arm and saw the DarkShadow standing next to him. They both starred at each other, DarkShadow then began to pressed harder on Marauder's arm, causing him to feel pain and drop the knife. DarkShadow then tossed him, crashing into another wall. As Marauder fell to the floor, the biker moved closer to the DarkShadow.

Biker #1:

Hey man thanks, I owe you a solid.

 

     He said as he pat his right hand on the DarkShadow's shoulder, but the DarkShadow grabbed his hand and proceeded to break it. As the biker screamed in pain, DarkShadow punched him hard in the stomach pushing him back to the wall and then grabbed his left hand and the knife on the ground and pinned his hand to the wall with the knife. As the biker screamed louder, DarkShadow put his hand over his mouth to keep him quiet.

 

DarkShadow:

Shut up! You said you owe me, so tell me what I want to know about this tattoo.

 

     DarkShadow said, moving the biker's head to take a look at the red snake tattoo on his neck.

 

Marauder:

HEY!!

 

     DarkShadow turned around and saw the Marauder standing, who was starring back at him.

 

Marauder:

So... your him. The Dark Demon of New York... the DarkShadow!

 

     DarkShadow remained silent and just starred at Marauder, who was stretching himself.

 

Marauder:

Heard a lot about you. Heard you got some serious abilities, Dark abilities! And I've heard you've taken on some serious players in this City. But also heard you've used some extreme methods on your targets, but I'm not judging I use similar methods myself if the need be, especially against my most serious enemies. But here's the thing whatever your here for, you have no idea what's really going on. So best you leave and let me handle this, The Red Serpents are serious trouble!

 

DarkShadow:

The Red Serpents! Is that who you work for?

 

     DarkShadow said, looking at the biker whose hand was dripping blood.

 

Biker:

I-I don't know what your talking~

 

     DarkShadow punched him in the mouth, making him cough up blood and teeth. DarkShadow then grabbed his throat.

 

DarkShadow:

I know your lying. This time tell the truth or things get worse! Now... who are the Red Serpents?

 

Marauder:

Hey did you hear me?

 

     Marauder said to the DarkShadow, but he ignored him.

 

Marauder:

Look I told you. The Red Serpents are not like your gangs, corrupt cops, or underground people. These guys are a rogue military unit. trained in expert combat, as well as infiltration, hacking and more. I'm the only one who can handle these guys.

 

     The DarkShadow then let go of the bikers throat and turned and face Marauder and starred at him and the Marauder starred back. DarkShadow remained silent and just continued to look at the Marauder, who just kept waiting for him to speak.

 

DarkShadow:

And who the hell are you!?

 

     The Marauder was shock of what the DarkShadow said.

 

Marauder:

What!? You don't know who I am, maybe because I'm not in uniform.

 

     Marauder then took out one orb from each of his pockets and pressed on them, activating them. As nanites swarmed around his arms, then his whole body forming his suit and mask.

 

Marauder:

Well... how about know?

 

DarkShadow:

No!

 

     DarkShadow then turned his attention back towards the biker. He then pressed on the knife that was pinning his hand to the wall, causing blood to drip faster and cause more pain to the biker.

 

DarkShadow:

Your gonna die soon from blood loss, or worse if you don't tell~

 

     Just as he was about to finished the Marauder grabbed his should. DarkShadow turned his head and looked at the Marauder.

 

DarkShadow:

Take your hand off~

 

     Before he could finished, Marauder then grabbed the back of DarkShadow's head and smashed him to the wall. Then grabbed him by his coat and swung then tossed him to the wall too.

 

Marauder:

I'm done telling you to back off so if you won't listen I'll just bit my warning into you.

 

     Marauder said, cracking his knuckles. As the DarkShadow stood up, he looked at the Marauder.

 

Biker #1:

Look, look. I'll tell you both what you want to know. There is a job they're going to pull at the MIDAS tech facility. That's I'll I know to let me go.

 

They both looked at the biker, then Marauder pulled out the knife in the biker's hand and lifted him up.

 

Marauder:

Thanks, I'll be sure to tell the police that you were cooperative as I drop you off at the station.

 

Biker #1:

Oh come on man!

 

     As Marauder laughed silently, he soon felt a presence. He turned and saw the DarkShadow coming right at him ready to attack. Marauder quickly dodged the punch the DarkShadow was throwing, but the punch instead hit the biker and the impact smashed his head to the wall killing him.

 

Marauder:

What the HELL's your problem!?

 

     DarkShadow looked at the Marauder and he felt this immense killing intent towards him.

 

DarkShadow:

Anyone who gets in my way of my targets... dies!

 

Marauder could feel the seriousness in him and knew he was not going to back down or be taken down lightly

 

Marauder:

Well... sorry to disappoint you. But the Red Serpents are my problem, not yours. So I'm not going to sit back and watch you finish something that's mine to finish. You want a fight, you got one.

 

     The two starred at each other intensely ready to fight.

 

     Meanwhile at a warehouse, a man is walking, then enter through a door, where he sees another man working with science equipment. 

 

Man #1:

Malcolm, how are things coming along?

 

     He said, standing next to Malcolm. Malcolm then put away his equipment down and looked at his colleague.

 

Malcolm:

My test have been proven unsuccessful. But I has only concluded that my theory is the key, we just need the final part of the machine, Rick.

 

Rick:

The plans are already in motion for tonight.

 

Malcolm:

Tonight! Are you sure that's wise, given who is after us and we have been making to much noise what if the Marauder learns that the Red Serpents still exist.

 

Rick:

Let him know, we'll take him down. This time for good.

 

Malcolm:

But he took down our unit. He's too strong for ordinary men.

 

Rick:

He didn't take down us and once we have everything for the machine, we'll have the power to stop him.

 

Malcolm:

Rick have you forgotten we have made promises for our project. Not to mention that we are now the DarkShadow's target. He's just as dangerous as the Marauder.

 

Rick:

He too shall be dealt with, once the Machine is finish. That's why I will be leading this mission to secure the final component. You head over to the testing sight and be ready. I want us to begin the moment I get there.

 

Rick:

Alright.

 

     Rick soon began to leave, to prep for the mission.

 

Malcolm:

Rick!

 

     He heard Malcolm's voice. Rick then turned around and looked at Malcolm.

 

Malcolm:

I hope you haven't forgotten the deal tat we made with "Them". for there services to helping us rebuild the Red Serpent and most of the equipment we needed for the Machine. We are to give them our research in return for great compensation and to allow you to use the Machine when finished.

 

Rick:

Of course, rest assure soon everything will come into place.

 

     Rick said to Malcolm reassuring him of the plan. He then left the room and walked through the hallway.

 

Rick:
And the Red Serpents will stand above all who threatens us.

 



     Rick said, as he smiled menacingly with a plan of his own.
