Hazel travels with Grace and Simon, unaware of their views on those like Tuba, meanwhile they become curious about Hazel upon seeing her number is not glowing. However as they journey together Grace and Simon begin to care for Hazel more, then they thought!

     First Half of Book 3:
The first half of the season was something. We got to explore more about the Apex group, but also learn more about Grace and Simon, we learn that they have been together for a long time and what leads them to view the way of the creature's of the Train the way they do. Also we get some new characters in book 3, Hazel and Tuba. Hazel is a very mysterious girl with a number that does not glow and Tube a Gorilla who takes care of Hazel and care about her well being. We see these 4 travel together through different Carts. Hazel at first like Grace and Simon, without knowing how they treat those like Tuba, but through the journey she starts to question those views they have towards them.

Grace, is the Leader of the Apex. She has the highest Number in the group. Grace continues to gather more human's, so she and Simon and overthrow One-One, due to them believing that he is the fake Conductor. We also see that she does not view the creature's of the Cart's as living being's. When she and Simon become separated from the rest of the group she becomes very calm about the situation as she has survived on the train for a long time. Simon is her best friend and closest ally on the train, they have been together for at least 10 years, she care's deeply for him and understands his views on the Creature's of the train, as she had to save his life from one, but finds that she can no longer share those same views after meeting Hazel and Tuba. When she meets Hazel she forms a strong bond from her, she also becomes more curious about her, not just her number but about her life. When Grace talks about her life, her parents and more before her arrival of the train, she sees that Hazel doesn't know what it is like herself, we also see the more she interacts with Hazel and bonds with her, her number starts changing in a way she did not anticipate. She has mix feeling about Tuba, because Tuba is a Creature of the train, she thinks Tuba is not important at all and plans to take her out when the time comes, but as she travel's with Tuba and sees how she cares for Hazel, Grace starts to show respect towards her.

Simon is Grace's second in command of the Apex. We see that he care's deeply for Grace and wants to gain her approval, as well as impress her by getting a higher number! We see that his views on the Creature's of the Train is similar to Grace's, but more. Simon not only view them as inferiors being's but also hates them. We see this when he is reunited with an old companion of the train, back when he first arrived. His relationship with Hazel is strain, because he frightens her when he expresses himself over his views on the creature's of he train, he does show his fun side to her as well, but just to gain her trust, so she can see that she does not need Tuba. When he meets Tuba he does not give a great first impression, there is a rivalry between the two, because of his view he cannot accept her. As they journey together, he start's to learn things about Tuba and why she I there for Hazel and comes to appreciate her, but in the end Simon does not see her as a "Person" in his eye's.

Hazel the new character in Book 3. She is a mysterious happy go lucky girl, with her first mystery is that her Number is not glowing. Her oldest companion is Tuba, that has been there for her, until she meets Grace and Simon. She travel's with them cause she wants to be around kids like herself. As they move forward she start's to form a strong bond with Grace, as she come's to really admire her, but also has some misgiving's when Grace expresses how she feels towards the Creature's of the Train, but still shown to really start to care about her. More mystery start to form around Hazel, when Grace talk's about her life when she was Hazel's age, the things she said were foreign to her, as if she did not experience those herself and when Grace talked about her parents, Hazel did not know what a Mom was, as for a Dad, it did resonate with her but it became a stressful subject.

Tuba is Hazel companion, caretaker and protector. She care's deeply for Hazel and wants what's best for her. When she first meets Grace and Simon she has her mistrust towards them. However she puts aside her concerns when they showed they want to be friends with Hazel. As she travel's with them her mistrust continues to grow, but start's to feel assure as they treat Hazel well, unaware of their intention for Tuba after they come to the Apex cart. We learn that Tuba suffered a loss before her life with Hazel and that Hazel helped her cope with this loss and she is Glad to have her. At the end she does come to trust Grace and Simon and entrust them with Hazel with they were going to get separated, but her trust in Simon when he came to her side cost Tuba everything!

The first half was really something. We got the return of some past characters, including "The Cat", who has a connection to one of the Apex Leader's. We learn a lot about Grace and Simon, with Grace  we learn of the possible reason she is on the train and Simon with his first experience on the train. As they're journey continues their bond becomes tested, and their view's start to change, especially when Grace bonds with Hazel and after what Simon has done. With Hazel she truly is a girl of mystery as the I continued to watch their journey I began to suspect that Hazel was born on the train, which is true but in ways I could not even believe, there truly is more to Hazel at the end of EP:5!

The Second Half of book 3 will continue to test Grace and Simon's bond, as they are now taking different roads, as Grace will want to protect Hazel from the rest of the Apex, including from Simon if he learns Hazel's secret that Grace Learned and fears what he might do to her as he did with Tuba!

     Second Half of Book 3:
The Second Half of Book 3 takes place moments after the last scene of ep. 5. Grace shock to see Hazel turning into a turtle, but se herself seems to not understand what is happening to her. As they continue further to where the Apex is, with Simon, who doesn't know about Hazel in fear of what he will do, after what he did to Tuba. As the journey Grace and Hazel's bond grows stronger and Grace truly begins to see that what she thought about the Denizen of the train were wrong. Meanwhile Simon continues to feel a distance between Grace. Also as they continue, they come across another Passenger who has answers to both The Conductor they believe is the true one and the Mystery of Hazel.

Grace still continues to care for Hazel despite seeing her transform. She still isn't sure what Hazel is though, but still wants to help her, especially when Hazel is afraid of what Simon will do! Grace begins to grow more as they move forward, and starts to see that her views have been wrong when she helped Hazel find a place to make a memorial for Tuba. She truly feels regret over what happened to Tuba when Hazel began to speak in her memory. Her relationship over Simon starts to become strain, after his action towards Tuba and it starts to break more when she and Simon meet "The Conductor" they've dedicated the Apex for and learn that everything they thought and believe (One-One, the Train, Denizen and Numbers) were wrong. She hasn't check what her Number is for a while, simply not because of what her is itself, but how she feels about it!

Simon's action created a great strain to not only Hazel, but also to Grace (which is the last thing he ever wants to happen). He continues to put his trust to Grace, when she ask for it, but sees that she I hiding something from him, not just hiding what her number is currently at, but something else. Desperate to find answer he goes to "The Cat" and she gives him the tools to help him, not after having a conversation on what happened between them. "The Cat" also tells him, her feeling towards their new companion they met. As she reunites with them, he learns the truth about "The Conductor" they believe in and refuse to accept the truth and still believe that the Train belongs to them and the true purpose of the number. After learning the truth about Hazel, he was instantly ready to leave her (even calling her a Null), however when Grace wanted to stay longer in the car they were in, his suspicion grew further and he learn more that Grace already knew about Hazel and kept it from him, because she feared what he would do to her, which broke him!

Hazel suffered a horrible loss, losing the only friend/family she ever had and also became confuse over her transformation. With the help of Grace she was able to revert back, but feared again over what will happen to her of Simon will do, after what he did to Tuba, but Grace reassured her that she will protect Hazel from him. As they continued further to the Apex, Grace first wanted to Honor Tuba with the Glowing Rock she brought with her, wanting to find  perfect spot, so she will be at peace always and Grace helped her. She continued to grow a strong bond towards Grace, even worried how Grace would feel about her, after seeing her transform into a turtle. She soon learns the secret of her ability from a new "Companion" they came across, who at first was a bit frighten from her, but soon felt a type of connection. After her secret had been discovered she worries what will happen, but is afraid of whether Grace will leave her! We also learn the secret of Hazel's Number and that it was the original number of "Someone" else when they first came to the train.

In the Second Half of Book 3 we get the return of Amelia, who has not made an appearance since the ending of Book one, only mentioned as he the "True Conductor" in book 2. It's reveal that she is the reason for the Shifting of Cars, not One-One (as Grace and Simon thought). The reason for this is because she wants to quarantine all the cars she had created, during her reign as the Conductor and that they do not belong to the train. After she learns that some cars that are not her's begin shifting as well, she is sent by One-One to investigate. That is how she come's across Grace, Simon and Hazel. She then learns from them that they are the Apex, the group formed around her, because they believe that she was the "True Conductor". After learning this, she laughs and reveals the truth to them, how she was once a passenger of the train and that she removed One-One so that she could restore her old life and be reunited with the one she loved. A goal that she sees as impossible and now seeks to make amends of her mistakes and get her number down and get off the Train. After seeing Hazel transform into a turtle, she learns that she is the source of the cars shifting, as Hazel was one of her creation's of Alrick, but isn't too sure on what Hazel actually is though, but wants to quarantine her for now!

There are a lot of surprises in the Second Half of Book 3. Will learn the secret of Hazel, also the return of Amelia, as was kind of given since this season revolves around the group that was founded in her Name. We see bonds growing stronger but also breaking apart, as some truth's are revealed and belief's changed. At the end of episode 8, it left with some uncertainties on what will become of everyone. Grace and Simon's bond begins to crumble as they're view and beliefs begin to change. We also learn the secret of Hazel, the mystery of her Number, and why she turns into a turtle (Though I got to wonder, why turtles?). Also when Amelia talked about why she is shifting the cars, she says that One-One doesn't see that as a solution, but sends her out to fix the problem. Though I don't thing he sends her out to fix the problem of the Cars she created, cause he sees that they are not a problem (Though he did at fist in book 1, but Tulip change his mind), instead I think he send her out to reveal the truth to the Apex, as they are technically a creation of her's as well.

What will happen next, what will become of Grace, Simon and Hazel. it will all be revealed in the conclusion of Book 3 - August 27, 2020!

     Conclusion of Book 3:
Book 3 comes to an end in the final two episodes. Book 3 first started out focusing on Grace and Simon traveling back to the Apex together, now it ends with them facing off against each other, as their views have change!

Grace faces many challenges in the last two episodes, the first is being separated from Hazel, as she can no longer follow Grace an Simon and that her place is not with the Apex.  In episode 8 we saw, Grace denying that she new Hazel was a Denizen and because of that it put a Rift between her and Hazel. We see that she regrets her choice, when they separated. We also see in Book 3 Grace's Past, what was her life before the train? We see that she came from a very High Class Family, but had parents that weren't around in her life and that she wanted to be notice by them, by any means and that is what lead her to be on the train. We also see how she first met the Conductor (Amelia), how she met Simon, how they worked together, formed the Apex and become great friends. At the end of the final episode Grace, finally comes to understand that what she thought she Knew wasn't true, that she was wrong, and this knew found enlightenment, makes her care for the Denizens of the Train. She now wants to help he kids, not lead them, into finding a better path, in understanding why they are here!

Simon continues to go down a dark path. After learning what Grace was keeping from him, his attitude towards her begins to change. He thought after, Grace and him separated from Hazel and Amelia, things would go back to the way it was. However he saw that Grace had change, that she no longer view denizens as Null's and that she continue to deny knowing what Hazel was from the beginning. This lead him to betray Grace, trapping her in her Tape (Despite the warning, he was given from Samantha). Simon then went on his own and seize control of the Apex Kids, turned them against Grace. His Action continue to raise his Number to higher lengths than ever (Higher than Amelia's). After Grace had broken free and returned to the Apex, Simon did not see her as the Friend he cherished, but instead a threat to his rule and had to get rid of (Same way he got rid of Tuba). Simon's minds truly became rabid, he refuse to except the truth when he met Amelia, except that Grace was wrong about what she knew cause he didn't want to be wring, Simon always wanted to be right, so much that it sealed his fate!

As for Hazel and Amelia, they had brief role in the last two episode's. Hazel decided to go with Amelia in hope's of better understanding herself. Amelia accepted her companionship, but still having her attitude that she expresses. Despite going their Separate ways and no longer feels safe around Grace, Hazel still wished her the best! Where Hazel and Amelia journey goes from their, time will tell!

Book 3 ended differently then the other's. For one it didn't end with someone getting their number to 0 and returning to their world. It ended, with Grace, understanding what the train truly is, but still figuring things out, as she continues on, along with the other kids, she wants to help, cause she been leading them down the wrong path. Book 3 contain a lot of hardship and struggles in the characters, one went down the right path, other went mad! We see how much things can happen between two people when are view are different from one another. Book 3 really separated from the other 2 books and the one thing I was disappointed in is that One-One did not make an appearance! Still Book 3 showed us on what the train is about and it's about growth, overcoming hardship, excepting things as they are, not running away from reality and become better!

My Rating for Infinity Train: Book 3 is... (Inspiring)
