The DarkShadow #13: The Dual

     Michael arrives at the police station and heads to the main room, where everyone is, and presents them Red Bishop in handcuffs. Everyone was shock to see this, as Michael had capture the Red Bishop.

Officer #1:

Michael... Is that?

 

Michael:

Yes. The Red Bishop, but not only that!

 

     Michael then removed the Red Bishop's mask revealing to everyone that he is Chief Trevor. Then Michael rolled up Trevor's right sleeve, showing the Hellfire Tattoo to them, making him out to be a member of the Hellfire Gang. Everyone couldn't believe it, they all spoke out of what all this means, and wanting answers.

 

Michael:

Listen, for years Chief Trevor has been secretly working for the Hellfire Gang... for Ifrit. That's way he survived the attack during Salamander's transport. Why the Hellfire Gang killed the other candidates for the Police Chief elections. So Trevor can become the next Chief and he and Ifrit will have total control over the Police Force.

 

Officer #2:

Michael... this, this gotta be some kind of mistake?

 

Michael:

I'm afraid it's not. Trevor was the one who killed Alan. And he framed the DarkShadow, made us all think DarkShadow was working for Ifrit, cause he discovered the truth.

 

     Everyone was shock and couldn't believe what they just heard.

 

Michael:

There's more. He's been planting Hellfire Member's within our ranks. I don't know who, it could be some of you, maybe none of you, or all of you. That's why I need you to lift op your sleeves, to see of any of you have their mark.

 

     Everyone was hesitant of Michael's request.

 

Michael:

Please. For Alan.

 

     Then one of them stood up from his chair, and rolled up his sleeves revealing nothing. Soon others followed, all did not have the Hellfire Tattoo. But 3 of them did not roll up there sleeves. everyone looked towards them and one of them then try to grab his gun but was jumped by everyone else and stopped, and the other too were taken down as well. The 3 traitors and Trevor were then taken into holding. Trevor looked towards Michael as did he, and then was no longer in the room. Everyone congratulated Michael for his accomplishment.

 

Michael:

Thank you. But this is not over. Ifrit plans to set fire on the city. I don't have time to get into all of the details right know. I need all of your help to stop it.

 

     Everyone then gathered around Michael to hear of his plan.

 

     Meanwhile Blaze Samurai is meditating in a room, when 4 red dressed Ninjas enter.

Ninja #1:

(Japanese) The Message has been sent.

 

Blaze Samurai:

(Japanese) Good, once he comes we end him. Then we meet up with Ifrit.

 

Ninja #2



(Japanese) Hmp. How much longer must we continued this charade of loyalty to him.

 

Ninja#3

(Japanese) Agreed. We did not help you steel the sword and left "Them", just to become someone else's servants. We joined you cause you promised us positions in power, where we would become masters, lead an army of our own, and rule. Now we have lost three of our own because of your devotion to this foolish man, who cannot stop one man.

 

     Then Blaze Samurai stood up, grabbed his sword and pointed it at one of the Ninja's neck.

Blaze Samurai:

(Japanese) Do not mistake my intentions. The DarkShadow is no ordinary man, as you should know. Also I have not forgotten my promise. My service to Ifrit is to help fulfil our goal. Once he has started his Cleansing Of Fire and creates his army, I will kill him and we will take control of that army and crush all our enemies. It is our destinies, and with The Crimson Blood Sword at our side, we will be victorious. Those fools did not understand it's true power, that is why I asked you to join me to claim it and now we are closer than ever, but the DarkShadow is a problem. That is why he must be dealt with. So, do I have your cooperation... my "friends".

 

     The Ninja's looked at each other than back at Blaze samurai and bowed, as did he. Then Blaze Samurai unsheathe his sword midway and stared at his reflection from the blade and smiled then re-sheathe it. 

     Later on DarkShadow is entering a building through a window, the building is the one located on the paper he received. He silently walked through the room and looked around. He then enters another dark room and looks but sees nothing. Then in both directions in the ceiling ninja stars are heading towards DarkShadow. He notices them and then uses his chain and swings it around him fast, blocking the ninja stars, then swung his chain towards one of the places the stars were thrown and grabs hold of something and crashes it to the floor revealing it to be one of the ninjas. Then the other ninja comes out of the shadows and comes towards DarkShadow, which he pulls the ninja wrapped around his chain, towards the other ninja crashing into him and hits the floor. DarkShadow then pulls the ninja again towards him, then jumps and tackles the ninja to the ground, putting him in a arm lock by the head then snaps his neck killing the ninja. DarkShadow then rise up and looks at the other ninja standing up and drawing his sword. Then smoke pops up and the other two ninja's come from it and all three attack DarkShadow with their swords. DarkShadow then wraps his chain around his right arm and uses it to block the swords and also dodge them and counters back. As DarkShadow continues fighting against the ninja's he back kicks in of them in the chest, pushing him back and falling to the floor, then loosen his chain and swung it around at the other two which they block with there swords. DarkShadow then kneeled down and swung his chain below one of the ninja's feet tripping him and falling. Then As he stood up he turned and saw the other ninja coming at him, sword raised high and swung it down at the DarkShadow, but DarkShadow grabbed the sword with both his palms, broke the upper piece of the blade, spinned with the piece in his right hand and cut the ninja's throat. As the ninja put his hands on his throat holding the wound, he kneeled down to the floor and blood started dripping off, then DarkShadow took the broken piece of the sword he was holding and stabbed the ninja the top of his head, then pulled it out and he then collapse to the floor dead. DarkShadow then noticed the other ninja standing up and threw the blade piece at him, but the ninja blocked it with his sword and threw 3 kunai knives at the DarkShadow, but he block the knives with his chain. DarkShadow then jump and side spinned in the air and swung his chain at the ninja, he attempted to block the chain with his sword, but the DarkShadow then unleashed dark energy through the chain, breaking through the sword and piercing the ninja through the left shoulder to the right side of his waist killing him. DarkShadow looked to the last ninja who dropped his sword and attempted to run but the DarkShadow grabbed hold of him with his chain around the ninja's neck still infused in dark energy, DarkShadow pulling the chain and ripped the ninja's head off, then wrapped his chain around his right arm, and proceeded on.

     Soon DarkShadow entered another room and sees the Blaze Samurai kneeling on the floor in  samurai armor with painted flames and with a samurai helmet on his right and his sword on his left, also two short swords on the back of his waist. DarkShadow continued walking towards Blaze Samurai. 

 

Blaze Samurai:

You killed my comrades.

 

DarkShadow:

There deaths came by your doing!

 

Blaze Samurai:

They were at my side, cause we all shared the belief that we were meant for more then what we were offered. We wanted to become more than what we were already. They helped me take the key that will open the door to that greatness. Now I must continue on my own.

 

DarkShadow:

You wanted a dual, but you send you lackey's to deter me. Have you no honor.

 

     Blaze Samurai then puts on his helmet, grabs his sword and stands up.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Ha, fool. I'm part of an criminal street gang. I've assisted in robbery, grand theft, kidnapping, ransom, prostitution, drugs, and murder. Cause this is how the world is now, such things as honor, no longer exist.

 

DarkShadow:

The only fool is you. Who will die this day.

 

      Blaze Samurai then took out his sword and tossed the sheath, and pointed his sword at DarkShadow.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Well... Let the Dual begin.

 

     Blaze Samurai said as he then spinned around, as red energy surge through the sword and unleashed a slash wave at the DarkShadow, which he dodge by sliding under the wave. DarkShadow then attacked Blaze Samurai, but he dodge and countered with his sword, but DarkShadow dodge as well. DarkShadow manage to land a few hits on DarkShadow while managing to dodge his sword strikes, but then was grabbed by the neck and lifted DarkShadow up and smashed him to the ground. Blaze Samurai then attempted to stab DarkShadow while he was on the ground but DarkShadow grabbed hold of the sword with his right hand, but also cutting and drawing black blood. The sword started reacting from DarkShadow's blood which also affected Blaze Samurai as well.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Aaah. I had forgotten how much The Crimson Blood Swords, loves your blood. It will become more powerful than ever once it has more.

 

     DarkShadow then divert the sword to impale the floor then side roll to get away, ground jump in the air and landed. Blaze Samurai took out his sword from the floor, and DarkShadow loosen his chain and he flowed dark energy through the chain and started swing strike at Blaze Samurai who block the strikes with the sword. Blaze Samurai then wrapped DarkShadow's chain around his sword and pulled hard, pulling DarkShadow towards him, then Blaze Samurai jumped in the air and spinned kick DarkShadow in then face, making him let go of his chain and pushed him back crashing through a wall. Blaze Samurai unwrapped the chain from his sword and tossed it and saw DarkShadow coming through the hole in the wall.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Hahaha. Perhaps all of those stories, all of those whispers of a Dark Demon, bringing death to all, leaving little survivors, only those who were lucky were able to survive.

 

     DarkShadow looked at him and then his right red mesh eye started to form a dark glow at the center.

 

DarkShadow:

They weren't lucky... They just weren't worth killing.

 

     DarkShadow said, as he crossed his arms and dark energy formed around them, then separate and both arms formed Dark Demon Blades. Blaze Samurai was not afraid and ready to fight. Then he leaped towards Blaze Samurai and striked with his right blade that clashed with his sword, then strike again but was block by his sword who countered strike at him, but was blocked as well. They both continued clashing there blades at each other, dodging there strikes and countering every chance they see. They both hold against each other, each managing to land a few cuts on there armor. Then DarkShadow's left arm blade formed dark energy around it, and Blaze Samurai's swords formed red energy and clashed there blades. They both hold there ground, but DarkShadow's Demon Arm Blade broke, reforming back into his arm. Blaze Samurai took the moment and striked at DarkShadow, but he blocked his oncoming strike with his right arm blade and continued fighting. As they both continued fighting they're blades clashed each other again and they hold they're position.

 

Blaze Samurai:

(Japanese) Your Blood will make The Crimson Blood Sword more powerful than any other blood has!

 

DarkShadow:

(Japanese) Not today!

 

     DarkShadow then diverted Blaze Samurai's sword creating and opening to his chest, then disengage from his sword, revert back to his arm, but still surging with dark energy and punch Blaze Samurai hard in the chest, causing his helmet to come off, let go of his swords and send him flying away crashing to the floor. The Crimson Blood Sword was in the air about to fall to the floor, but was grabbed by the DarkShadow. Blaze Samurai stood up, saw the dent that was made in his armor by the punch, then looked, his eyes widened and jaw dropped and he saw DarkShadow wielding The Crimson Blood Sword. As DarkShadow wielded the blade, it started react transmitting red energy through the DarkShadow which causing him pain and kneel to the floor.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Hahaha, fool. You have no idea the nature of that sword, only those who have drank from the blood of which it was forge, can wield such a blade. If not it will kill you.

 

     DarkShadow continued to feel more intense pain, as more red energy surge through DarkShadow, but then DarkShadow's eye started to glow dark at the center again and dark energy started to form around him which interacted with the swords energy and then it ceased and the pain stop, as DarkShadow rised up, and examined the sword. Blaze Samurai couldn't believe what he saw.

 

Blaze Samurai:

Im-impossible. The-the sword accepts you.

 

     DarkShadow then looked at Blaze Samurai.

 

DarkShadow:

This sword craves blood, the same as me and it. 

 

     Blaze Samurai then became furious and draw his two short swords behind his waist.

 

Blaze Samurai:

THAT SWORD IS MINE! IT CALLED TO ME!

 

DarkShadow:

It only called to you, so you could deliver it to me.

 

     Blaze Samurai then charge at DarkShadow as did he and then once they were close enough they both swung there blades and clashed. As they're blades continued to clash against one another, Blaze Samurai continued fighting with deep rage within him, from seeing DarkShadow wielding The Crimson Blood Sword. Then he saw a opening and try to stab DarkShadow, but he manage to dodge and cut off Blaze Samurai's left arm, however Blaze Samurai did not stop and try to attack again with his remaining arm, but DarkShadow block his strike, counter then attacked multiple time at Blaze Samurai who manage to block his attack, but DarkShadow continued attacking relentlessly. As Blaze Samurai continued to block his strikes, but became tired. Then DarkShadow hit Blaze Samurai's sword making him lift it up in the air and cut off his right arm, then quickly sweep behind him, then wielded the sword backwards and stabbed Blaze Samurai in the back through to his chest.

 

     DarkShadow then removed the sword from Blaze Samurai, causing him to fall on his knees. DarkShadow looked as blood from his severed arms, back, chest and mouth.

 

DarkShadow:

You have two options. One, I kill you slowly and painfully or two, I give you a quick and honorable death, but tell me where Ifrit is.

 

Blaze Samurai

...."Blah"... He'll be at the Sewer Control Center, it's the main building where all of the sewer lines connect to. But you cannot stop his plan... "Cough", "cough"... it's already in motion.

 

DarkShadow:

I don't care about his plan. As long as I kill Ifrit, that's all that matters to me.

 

Blaze Samurai:

(Japanese) Even so, you have no idea, the amount of danger that will come to you in wielding that sword. "They" will know and when they do, "They" will come for you.

 

DarkShadow:

(Japanese) Let "Them" come.

 

     He said as he raised The Crimson Blood Sword and swiftly cut Blaze Samurai's head off, giving him his quick death. The sword reacted to Blaze Samurai's Blood and absorbed it and DarkShadow could feel the power The Crimsons Blood Sword was emitting, then stopped. DarkShadow then picked up the swords scabbard and re-sheath it back in and attached it to his back jacket, then grabbed his chain and wrapped it around his right arm.

 

     Later DarkShadow was standing on the edge of the building and then jump, heading towards Ifrit.

 

     Meanwhile, the Hellfire members who Chief Trevor snuck into and disguise as police officers and send them off around New York, closed down the roads in there area and started dumping the chemical that Ifrit created into the sewers and Ifrit at the Sewer Control Center did the same and smiled as his plan was about to begin.
