The DarkShadow Vol. 2 #7: THE SILVER KNIGHT!

     At the KNIGHT Industries, DarkShadow and GroundShatter are faced with the Silver Knight who stands between the two. The Silver Knight stands and points both his arms at DarkShadow and GroundShatter with energy surging though his armor palms.

Silver Knight:

Alright... so, I'm hoping we can come to an understanding and~

 

GroundShatter:

Shut up and who the hell are you!

 

Silver Knight:

I'm the Silver Knight. Mr. Léonce personal bodyguard, as well as Seattle's protector and the defender to the people of the world.

 

GroundShatter:

Defender of the people! HA... my people are the victims to the cruelty to those who are the disease to this city.

 

     Silver Knight then lowered his arms and turned towards GroundShatter.

 

Silver Knight:

I am well aware that the Underground Citizens have been given a harsh life and Mr. Léonce wishes to work to help your people in rebuilding what you have lost.  

 

GroundShatter:

We will rebuild, when New York is reclaim by it's "True" citizens and the false ones are wiped out as well as those who seek to help them!

 

     GroundShatter said, as he a charge at Silver Knight with his hammer ready to strike, however DarkShadow came from the air and attacked GroundShatter with his sword, but GroundShatter dodge his attack and the two fought. Silver Knight watching at first, flew up in the air with his thruster on his armored feet and blasted DarkShadow and GroundShatter with energy blast from his armored palms. Silver Knight continued blasting at DarkShadow and GroundShatter, but GroundShatter dodge his blast at first but was then hit and knocked down, while DarkShadow block and repeeled the blast with his sword, then grabbed his chain with his left hand and swung it at Silver Knight tangling around his left leg and DarkShadow pulled him down crashing to the ground. As Silver Knight was getting up he saw DarkShadow coming at him preparing to strike, but Silver Knight dodge his sword and two dagger blades came out from Silver Knights wrist. Silver Knight blocked DarkShadow's sword with his blade and then broke free from his chain and attacked. As DarkShadow and Silver Knight fought, GroundShatter started to get back up and saw the two. GroundShatter then slam his hammer on the ground causing a earthquake making DarkShadow and Silver Knight lose balance. He then came at them and hit Silver Knight a few time creating dents in his armor, then one more time (Hard), sending him flying and crashing to the ground. GroundShatter then went and attacked DarkShadow with one of his hammer, but DarkShadow blocked his attacked with his sword then cut off the head of the hammer. The two continued to fight clashing there weapons, till DarkShadow cuts off the head of GroundShatter's remaining hammer and then attempted to cut off GroundShatter's head, but GroundShatter attacked DarkShadow with his vibrational waves from his hands sending him back. GroundShatter continued attacking DarkShadow with his vibrational waves from his hands, keeping him to the ground. As the ground began to crumble around DarkShadow, he could feel his body starting to break apart. GroundShatter didn't stopped and unleashed an endless wave on DarkShadow.

 

GroundShatter:

This time you'll stay buried!

 

GroundShatter said, as he was attempting to finish DarkShadow. As he unleashed vibrational waves on DarkShadow, a loud screeching noise started to come at GroundShatter. He began to feel pain in his ears, as the noise was too loud and he then stopped his attack on DarkShadow and covered his ears, trying to shield them from the noise. He then struggle as he turned his head and saw Silver Knight behind him, unleashing the sound waves. GroundShatter then saw DarkShadow coming up in front of him, with his right hand forming dark energy and blast GroundShatter with it, sending him up in the air. Then Silver Knight activated his thrusters and flew towards GroundShatter while he was in the air and punched him in the face and making him crash into the ground and knocked him out.

     As Silver Knight stand above the unconscious GroundShatter and saw DarkShadow then standing there and raised his sword as he was going to finish GroundShatter, but Silver stopped him by grabbing his hand wielding the sword. DarkShadow then looked at Silver Knight who looked right back at him.

 

Silver Knight:

The battle is won. He is defeated. Let's take him into custody, there is no need to kill him.

 

     DarkShadow was first silent and starred at Silver Knight. He then started to lower his sword, making Silver Knight to release his arm, but then DarkShadow quickly striked at Silver Knight who manage to dodge, receiving only a scratch in his armor. Silver Knight then raised his hands at DarkShadow and started blasting him with energy. DarkShadow dodge the oncoming blast and made his way towards Silver Knight. Silver Knight then activated the dagger blades from his armor wrist and blocked DarkShadow's sword. The two then engaged at each other, clashing there blades.

     The two continued there dual, clashing there blades at each other until they were locked. DarkShadow pushed down, making Silver Knight to kneel down. Silver Knight then manage to disengage from the DarkShadow, but DarkShadow manage to break one of Silver Knights blades. He then started striking at Silver Knight but he dodge and blocked DarkShadow's sword. As DarkShadow attempted to strike again, but he then stopped his blade that was right next to Silver Knight head, because Silver Knight was pointing a mini missile from his right arm. They both then heard police sirens heading there way.

 

Silver Knight:

During the fight I contacted the police. Now I don't think you want to meet them, cause they probably have some questions for you, right.

 

     DarkShadow then lowered his blade and put it back in it's sheath  on his back and walked away. Silver Knight then pit away his missile and watched the DarkShadow walking away.

 

Silver Knight:

Wait! We should work together to work on finding a truths with the Underground Citizens.

 

      DarkShadow then turned his head towards Silver Knight.

 

DarkShadow:

The best way to bring a slight chance of a truths, is when I kill the Underground King! So, stay out of my way.

 

Silver Knight:

Would you like for me to relay your answer to Mr. Knight?

 

DarkShadow:

If you know, then he knows... right, Knight.

 

     DarkShadow said, making the Silver Knight flinch from his words. DarkShadow then turned into dark smoke and vanished, just as the police arrive. Officer soon stepped out of the car, with them Lieutenant Lydia. They all saw GroundShatter on the ground knocked out and standing next to him, the Silver Knight.

 

Silver Knight:

Ah! Greeting Officers, I believe this man is a dangerous criminal, working for the Underground Citizens and the one responsible for that mess in at city hall this morning.

 

     Lydia and her officer first starred at Silver Knight as he pointed at GroundShatter.

 

Lydia:

Put some P.D Cuffs (Power Dampener Cuff) on him and take him away.

 

     She order one of her officer, which he complied, then walked towards Silver Knight and stopped in front of him.

 

Lydia:

Your the Silver Knight correct, Léonce Knight personal bodyguard.

 

Silver Knight:

Why yes I am!

 

Lydia:

Well some bodyguard you were this morning. I'm not too sure this city can handle another masked Vigilante!

 

Silver Knight:

Okay 1, I am not wearing a mask, I'm w~ a-a Artificial Intelligence Robotic Protector Unit, design by Mr. Knight to save, protect and defend to the people around the world. And  2, I wasn't here this morning is because Mr. Knight needed me to remain behind as a way of showing all the Citizens of New York that here is here to help, including to the Underground Citizens and that he is not afraid.

 

Lydia:

It's thinking like that that gets people killed, he should know better than anyone on how dangerous the world can be!

 

     Silver Knight was at first silent and starred at Lydia.

 

Silver Knight:

Trust me. He understands that more than you can imagine. That's why he built me to help this world and save people!

 

     Silver Knight then walked back, away from Lydia. Then the thruster on his feet ignited and he flew off. Lydia looked to the night sky as he she the Silver Knight flying away.
