Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost Of Tsushima: Review
By. Justin Azevedo

Synopsis: Set in 1274, on the island of Tsushima. Jin Sakai (Voice by. Daisuke Tsuji) is on of the last of the Samurai, during the Mongol Invasion. The Mongol Armies lead by Khotun Khan (Voice by. Patrick Gallagher) have seized control of much of the island and have terrorize the inhabitants. Jin realizes that in order to defeat the Mongol's and seek the vengeance of his Clan, is to become a Ghost, use fighting style that are not the ways of a Samurai, but installs fear into enemies, in hopes of defeating the Mongols before the launch their full scale Invasion onto the Mainland!

Day 1. The Cinematic is amazing, well detailed in motion capturing and combat! The First 30 minutes into the story already caught my interest, in seeing how the characters journey continues has he head's down to become "The Ghost"! The Villain Khotun Khan is a well advance villain I have to say the way he invaded was truly the work in Military strategy! Jin ally was also incredible, as well has a very interesting past given her occupation, but I can already tell this ally will have an important role in Jin becoming a "Ghost"! The feature's you can select before you start playing is really interesting, English Dub, Japanese Dub, as well as Classic Samurai Black and White Movie Version. Can't wait to try each one after I first beat the Game!

Day 3. The Game continues to amaze me, with it's style of Combat, assassination, and travel. I have to say, there are many elements in this game that do remind me of Middle Earth Game, especially sneak and assassination gameplay. The Golden Bird is a unique experience, where you follow a bird and develop a Haiku! the most unique about this game though how you head to your destination, in games like these, they give you a mini map to help guide you to where you want to go, but in Ghost of Tsushima you must follow the wind, once you pick your destination, it's like your using the elements to help guide you in your Journey, plus a good way to use the Touch Pad Interface on the PS4 Controller. Ghost of Tsushima, already has a great story, and the more we learn of Jin, his past what lead him to become a samurai and how those conviction will be tested a he further down t become the "Ghost, as well as the stories of the other characters.

Day 7. The Adventure through Tsushima continues to be Amazing. There's not just the main story, but also the sub-stories too, as well as a few challenges that you come across. Like the Bamboo challenge, it really shows how much you can handle your controller. I like how that we not only have Jin's personal Story to go threw, but also the Stories of Lady Masako, helping her gain the Revenge she wants and also the story of Lord Ishikawa and facing his mistakes. There is also the Mythic quest, I like how, to access those quest you have to listen to the story of Legendary Warriors and then you have to follow the clues they left behind to obtain the item that relates to that quest. Ghost of Tsushima really explores all kinds of contents then just action, fighting, roaming.

Day 10. The Game is really incredible, the design of the background, the landscapes, and the environment were done extremely well. It has become a hard game to beat, not for it's difficulty, but for having a interesting story, not just the main story, but also the side stories as well, the Tale's of your comrade's, the Mythic tales and the tale's of the people. I just want to explore it all first then get back on track to the main story. There is also such emotion that you can feel from the characters, the hardship's they're facing, the stress they're under, the loss they feel, the secret's they're keeping and the hope they gave!

Day 11. A lot of emotions that the game has! Emotion's of Loss, Resentment, Anger, Hatred, and Disappointment! Jin face a lot of these emotion's as you continue further into the game. There is gonna be some huge losses, as you retake Shimura Castle and a scene that will truly crush your heart, as Jin will lose a friend that has journey with him all through Tsushima. My biggest question though is when he will don the True "Ghost" Armor. For a while I thought maybe you would have to like acquire the pieces to the armor as the Game continues, but like it, better that it was made by a comrade who believe in the "Ghost"!

Final Day. What a Game, finishing the final tales of the allies, also the final Mythic tale and the story tale. Truly it has been quite the adventure, all leading up to the battle with the Khan and I like how it went, first starting out as usual with a Duel, but then battle openly so you can use all the skills, weapon and techniques you acquire through your journey and the finishing blow, perfect way in use of the sword. I was both surprise and suspected though that it would not be the last duel, nor how Jin's fate would end when he defeated the Khan, though it makes sense that it would end such a way, but the most difficult part was having to choose which ending with Lord Shimura, but I think either one would fit on how the Game is set. Ghost of Tsushima truly brought out all the elements for a great Game... Action/Adventure/Drama/Sorrow/Suspense!

My Rating of Ghost of Tsushima is.... (EPIC)
