Netflix-Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy

     The Autobots Lead by Optimus Prime (Voiced by. Jake Fourshee) have been in a Civil War against the Decepticons Lead by Megatron (Voiced by. Jason Marnocha). Megatron plan's to end the War once and for all by using the Allspark, to Destroy the Autobots and not only conquer Cybertron, but the Universe. However Optimus Prime will do whatever he can to stop him, even if that means, having to sacrifice Cybertron!

Review:

     A good first season to a trilogy. though I do think there could have been some improvement in this series. Think there should have been more than 6 episode to tell more of the Story, also Voice dubbing may need some adjustments, it seem a little forceful, like most of the voice cast weren't really committing to their role. Overall though a great Season, lot of action, good Character build ups and really showing on how the War went on Cybertron and why it all started, as well as making a few changes from the original storyline.

     We saw how the War was really affecting Optimus. Having to make the tough decisions as the Leader, also how becoming the Leader as thrust upon him when  Megatron (who Optimus though was a better fit) failed to live up to that expectation. We also learn his history with Megatron and why they went on different paths. Another thing we see from Optimus in this series is how he's having trouble controlling his emotions, when he gets frustrated and lashes out when complications arrive. We usually see him always in control and compose with himself (in past transformers Series), but yet becomes humble in the end. We still see him as the caring Autobot who wishes for the freedom of all and will fight to his last spark!

     Megatron is quite different from this series than in his past incarnation's. He still desire's to rule over all, but believes his path is the true path to peace. The series also dives into why he has chosen this path, that the life he had before the War, before the Decepticons, was one Struggle, Hardship and Unjust. Megatron wants to win, but is hesitant at first in using Dark Extreme methods, that Shockwave has come up, but decides to use them to attain victory at all cost!

     Elita-1 created from the Original Series and hasn't made a full appearance in sometime makes her return! In this series she is one of Optimus most trusted commanders. She cares and trust Optimus, but also worries that he hasn't thought out his strategy yet. She feels, that he must take precautions and not put in so much blindly trust and faith. We also see that the life of a Soldier was not she wanted for herself or for Optimus. However she still has Optimus's back and will be there for him no matter the cost! 

     Bumblebee takes a different path in series at first. He is not a Autobot or a Decepticon, but rather a Scavenger for hire. He does not believe in any of the causes that both side are fighting for, but rather defends for himself. Though he does seem to see that Autobots are the good guys in the War and throughout the series he begins to understand the larger picture of it all!

     Starscream is still Starscream in this Series, seeing opportunity for him to rise into power. We see him questioning Megatron's leadership, but his first goal in this series is to usurp Jetfire as leader of the Seekers!

     In this Series, we see how Jetfire, starts off as a Decepticon, but also as Leader of the Seekers and Megatron's second in command. We see him acting as a Decepticon, ruthless in battle, but also humble in showing mercy towards enemies. Through the season we see him transition as he begins to question Megatron's goals and why he truly joined the Deception's in the first place.

      There are many characters that we see that have different views and beliefs in why they have chosen their side, or how the War has made an impact on their planet. We also see struggles in characters that we haven't really seen in past incarnation's in the franchise. Still the First Season of the Trilogy has kicked off to a great start and already cannot wait for Chapter 2!
