Maraudar Season 2 Episode 1
Casey discovers a Light Energy artifact in Brazil. Back in Vegas, Krystal does what she can to help clean up crime and the mess after Opus's attack.
1 month earlier, during the attack
The Marauder looks into the night sky and watches Kelsy dissapear until out of view. He turns to the two Mech hes fighting. Using all his strength, he uppercuts both the Mechs head off and it falls to the ground.
"How much time?" Casey says, ripping apart the Mechs to find the bomb itself.
"I may have a way to stop them. If I muster up all my dark energy, I could contain both blasts. Its a long shot, but its the only option I got."
"Do what you have to." Oz says on the com.
Another minute passes by and Casey hears two loud booms in the upper atmosphere, seeing a large blast ring. Kesly did her part, now it was time for his.
Casey slowly builds a dark energy bubble around the exterior of the Mechs, his heart slightly pounding as the clock ticks closer to zero. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. Both bombs explode, and the blast is contained in the energy field just like he had planned. He was then left standing in a crater from the blast, and there was nothing left of the Mechs.
Casey sighs of relief. All of the sudden, the area around Casey crackles with electricity and what looks like a portal opens up. Casey resists it, but is sucked through it. He gets tossed around in what appears to be a dark swirling tunnel, and becomes unconscious due to the immense pressure.
Sao Palo, Brazil
It is late night in the city of Brazil. In an alleyway of the city known as Sao Paulo, a portal opens up, and out falls a man in a high tech suit of armor. This mans name was Casey Adams, kown as the Marauder to Las Vegas. About an hour later, he is still unconscious. His body is then dragged.
A month later, Casey finally wakes up. His vision is slightly distorted and he has a really bad headache. When he comes to, he remembers the incident in Vegas with Opus. He is in a room on a bed, and he could see his Marauder suit hanging on a wall. A man then walks in the room.
"How are you feeling, senior?" He speaks with a Spanish accent.
"Ive felt better." He groaned. "So I guess you know my secret now. How can I trust you?"
"I saved your life senior. You've been in a coma for a month. If you were never found, you couldve died or have been killed. My name is Oscar. Your secret's safe with me. I wont tell a soul."
"Thanks. Call me Casey."
"So, Casey." He asked, then gave Casey some water. "How did you end up here?"

Las Vegas, Nevada
"This one too, Captain." Krystal hands over a criminal she caught to Captain Dawes.
"Thanks Krystal." Some of his officers take the criminal into their cruisers and head off. It seems ever since the Opus attack criminals have been trying to test Vegas's newest hero in the Marauders absence, but have ultimately failed. Maybe theyre in it for the thrill of getting caught by a hero or maybe trying to take after Opus.
"Still no word from Marauder?" Captain Dawes asks.
Krystal shakes her head. "Nothing. Its as if he's gone off the grid."
"Hes been in tough situations before. He took out two giant robots that were about to assimilate the entire city! With your help of course."
Krystal nodded. "I just hope wherever he is, hes not dead. Ill let you know if I hear anything." Krystal then takes off into the air.

Sao Paulo, Brazil
It had been almost a month since Casey was living in Brazil and had told Oscar his story of how he saved Vegas and how he became the Marauder. He made some nrw modification to his armor. He developed a gadget when combined with his powers, could teleport him anywhere on the planet. Also during that time Casey had discovered the location of another Light Energy Artifact buried deep somewhere in the neighboring Atlantic forest. He didnt tell Oscar for his own safety.
The next week, Casey began gathering items and making preparations for his trip. He wrote Kelsy a letter to let her know he was alive and would return to Vegas soon. He needed to contain the artifact before it fell into the wrong hands. He put on an explorers hat and had his armor change itself into an explorers outfit.
"Oscar, I need to leave." Casey tells him by the door.
"I wont stop you, Casey." They shake hands. "I hope you find what you're looking for."
Casey steps out into the hot Brazilian sun and walks the streets of Sau Palo. He flags down a driver owning an open vehicle and pays him and gives him the coordinates of where to take him.
"Good day, sir. I see you're going to the Atlantic Forest."
"Yes." Casey responds.
"I recommend you not to, sir. Very dangerous." The driver warns. "The winged devils live there."
Casey realizes these 'winged devils' could be a new threat. Knowing he has enhanced abilities, he doesnt find them intimidating the least bit.
"You dont know?" The driver asked.
"Im not afraid of anything." Casey replied confidently. "I assure you, by the time I come out of that forest, I will seem like the devil to those devils."
"Be careful, sir. Anyone whos gone in there looking for them hasnt made it out alive." He warned.
The vehicle comes to a stop. Casey stares at the seemingly endless amount of trees in front of him. He got a strange vibe from this forest, and knew it was the light energy artifact. He steps off the vehicle.
"Dont worry about me, I came prepared." Casey puts on a backpack containing a small bracelet that contains his entire Marauder suit. It was one of the more recent improvements he made.
"Good luck." Casey watches the vehicle drive out of site.
Casey reaches into the backpack and pulls out the thick bracelet. It contained billions of nanites he made borrowing a 3D printer from a local university when spending time in the city of Sau Palo. The nanites formed the suit in a wave-like fashion and fabricated themselves into the Marauder suit. Casey was more than prepared for the dangers that lay ahead.
